we used elmer's spray glue, elmer's glue dots, elmer's triple fold board.  We were able to make a chimminey for our house.
we painted white lines and after they dried, we painted a black hole.

 

after it dried we painted the fire, added glitter and used glue dots to stick the mantle and cards

we rolled up brown paper for logs

crafts, do you like them?

I love crafts.  They help me relax.  We are about to be on vacation for a month and I am making a list of crafts I want to do during that time.  I tried learning how to crochet, but it didn't work out.  I am going to do some Christmas crafts, but want to do other stuff too. 

Do you have any ideas for me?  

a thanksgiving celebration

we are in an afterschool program and for fun we decided to do a performance.

My sister chose to be in the hip hop dance and I went to do the sign language song.  we practiced for weeks and during a Thanksgiving lunch, we performed for everyone.  My mom cried the whole time, I was embarrassed but I was proud.  I tried to upload the video but it says it will take 140 minutes, nevermind!

how many do you have?  I have alot.  We are 7 kids.  I am the oldest girl, but not the oldest kid.  It's fun a lot of times because we always have someone to play with, but a lot of times I get upset and annoyed.  I wish i had my own space.  I share my room only with my sister, but I wish I had my own room.  I like to have my room clean and she is a little messy, ok a lot messy. 

The older boys like to have their rooms clean, but the little ones don't.  They don't even like to pick up their own toys or dirty clothes.  I think Santa needs to bring them a hamper and a toy box.  But he needs to leave a note saying what they are for.

Do you have a lot of friends?

I don't.  I try to make friends, but everywhere we have lived I always feel like I don't belong.  Kids are mean to me and my brothers and sister.  They call us names, or hit us.  We have never been allowed to play outside like them.  with no parents outside, so they do a lot of things that are bad since no one is watching them.  Anytime we are allowed to play outside, we have to be watched by a parent and so we don't do bad things like them, so they say we aren't cool.

I don't mind not being able to play without my mom watching us, where we used to live 2 kids went missing and I think it's because their parents weren't watching them.  I feel safe that my mom watches us so closely.  I don't have to be afraid of being taken by a stranger.  Sometimes though, I have wanted to play outside when she wasn't watching us, because i like to climb on the trees and play football with the boys, but now that I'm older I am happy that she watches us like that.  I am now in a football team, and I love it.  yes, I'm a girl and in a football team, and I can play just as hard as the boys do.  I can't wait until the basketball season starts because last year we were undefeated and won the championships.  that was so cool!

my mean teacher :(

I am a part of a group of kids who are in 5th grade, but got to be in a combined 5th and 6th grade class because there was no room for us anywhere else.  I was so excited.  I was going to be able to be a part of all the 6th grade activities.  At the begining of the year a few kids complained about our teacher being mean, I told my mommy and she said that almost every kids says the same thing.  She told me that if things ever got bad, to make  sure I told someone. 

Our teacher kept being mean, but none of us kids wanted to tell and get in trouble.  so she kept being very mean to us, she screamed t us very loudly, and snatched things from us.  Finally one day we had a substitute teacher and she asked why we looked scared.  One kid told her that we were scared to be screamed at. 
The next day our teacher was back.  She was just as mean.  2 days later the substitute teacher was back.  The principal came in and told us a lot of things.  She told us that the substitute teacher had secretly left a video camera turned on at the computer and that she saw and heard how our teacher treated us.  She took the video to the principal and to the district.  Our teacher got in trouble and we had a substitute teacher for 2 months.  it was great.  The principal told us that the teacher was going through a divorce and that's why she was so upset.

my mom felt so bad, but it wasn't her fault.  I didn't want to tell her because I didn't want to get in trouble by the teacher.  now I know that even if I get in trouble I have to tell someone if I am treated wrong.  I hope that you tell someone if you are treated wrong.

Disney's Tangled in 3D

On November 4, 2010 our Family got invited to the advanced screening of the Disney movie Tangled in 3D.

We had a really good time.  It was so much fun, and my little brother was trying to grab the falling stuff during the movie.  My parents even were laughing and I did see my mommy cry, but I pretended not too. heehee.

TANGLED is a movie about an 18 year old lost princess that was saved by a magical flower.  Weeks before the princess was born the Queen got sick and she almost died.  All the towns men came searching for a miracle.  There is an  old woman who is also dying and she finds this magical flower that can save your life when ever you sing a song; but if you boil and drink it you can never use it again.  That's what happened when they found this flower. The old woman got mad they had stole her flower, so she sneaks in to the castle and takes the baby princess.  Now every night on her birthday the entire kingdom  lights lanterns hoping that she would return.  The lost princess wants to go out of her tower but her fake mother wont let her.

Don't worry, I didnt tell you the whole movie, there is a lot more to it.  It is so much fun, and funny, and cute. 

I give it a 10 year old's 2 thumbs up!

MY FIRST DAY OF 3RD GRADE

Hi  my  nickname  is  mini.  I am K's sister.  My  first  day  of  3rd  grade  was  very  fun  I  made  lots  of  new  friends.I  stayed  on  plus  so  my  teacher  was  happy.  That  day  are  teacher  gave  us  second  bell  when  we  weren't  supposed  too (means a second recess)  that's  how  good  we  are.  My  teachers  name  is  Miss.T.  That  is  all  since  this  is  my  first  time  doing  this and I don't know what to say.  so bye!

I am so excited to do this.

It seems so fun.

I am sporty,relaxed, but competitive.

I do good with making friends.

I do good on my school work.

I bet I could do good and be successful when I grow up. 

I cant wait to post about the places that I have been to this summer;

like the Statue of Liberty,the Natural History Museum, and Central Park.
